yayy another COTTON ON's store finally open at Grand Indonesia Shopping Town, as you know, this Australian based casual brand open their first store at Central Park couple weeks ago and its time to celebrate their second store opening.
this store will showcase the products of COTTON ON lines such as COTTON ON, COTTON ON BODY, the infamous and cheap-chic RUBI SHOES
yepp, we don't need to travel abroad just to have the newest rubi shoes collection now.. just drive away yourself to the nearest malls ( Grand Indonesia or central park ) and voila! new dresses and tops from COTTON ON and RUBI SHOES now available in front of your eyes
fyi, COTTON ON stores in Indonesia will be a megastore where we can find multiple brands in one store.. not only for women but for men too. how cool is that ???
of course, the aim is to be able to offer their customer a much broader mix, including men's and women's apparel, active-wear, swimwear, sleepwear, lingerie, shoes, accessories, jewelry and many more.

I’ve been familiar
with this brand since I was a teenager, because my mom is the fan of LANEIGE
since 2000 (cheers for that :D ). Well now I’m 23 yo, and quite old to be familiar
with some beauty brands rite? LANEIGE is one of my favorite beauty products
(based my mom’s beauty product preference, of course). My mom told me that LANEIGE had been pulled
out from Indonesia couple years ago and makes this brand so difficult to find
in Indonesia, she has to ordering some of the skin care from her friend who
stayed in other country. But now I don’t have to worrying this kind of thing
because LANEIGE is now available again in Indonesia since last year and they
introduce to us to the “new” power of Korean beauty products (will share it
later).
But before i share
tips and tricks when using LANEIGE skin care and make up products, here’s a
brief intro about LANEIGE :
LANEIGE (in French:
Snow) is a global scale korean beauty brand since 1994, by pursuing the
artistic sensibility of water science, they using advance water technology to
produce wide range of beauty products with the aim to help every single woman
achieve a radiant – dewy skin they always longed for.
But
anyway.. I’m here to give(lecturing) you some Korean beauty 101, because
last tues LANEIGE INDONESIA challenge me to take part in their BEAUTIFUL

The
first thing you need to know about Korean beauty secret is : THE POWER OF SKIN
CARE. Yes, skin care! One thing that we always forget is how to maintain our
skin before applying make up. Because the health of our skin will affect our
make up.
the second one is when it comes to Korean style make up, You have
to look as natural as you can, use the right amount of bb cream, blush and
shading, try not to over-powdered your face with pressed powder (shiny,moist,supple look is the important key to apply K-Makeup). IMPORTANT! highlight the make up
with your supple and moist skin and don't forget to playing with colorful eye shadow colors also the eyeliner for your eyes make-up (as we can see that Asian women have a very
small eyes and thin eyelid and that’s why Korean make up always put some efforts
on eyes make up)

show you step by step how to use LANEIGE WHITE PLUS RENEW skin care product
first, appling the skin refiner into your hands, then spread it all over your face and wait for about 2 minutes before applying emulsion

After done with this step, lets move to a
basic make up step shall we?

WATER SUPREME PRIMER BASE SPF 15 FA+
(3 types of primer - 60 green light,40 purple light and 20 light peach)
This primer will make the make up last
longer and retain the moisture of our skin all day long.
What I have is 40 Light purple, this type
the best for yellowish skin like mine and this primer is suitable for all skin type.
NOTORIOUS
AND INFAMOUS SNOW BB SOOTHING CUSHION SPF 50+ PA+++ (my
most fave product)
The
first compact bb cream with multiple functions ( whitening + sunscreen + sweatproof
+ soothing + make up ) and what makes this product so unique are the 3 degrees
mineral water for the soothing-cooling effect to our skin and 800.000 pores inside the cushion that will break up the bb cream
into small particles and customized puff made from rubycell and polyurethane
will maximizing the soothing and cooling effect when we apply this in our face,
yes with 9 times powerful to absorb the moisture than the ordinary puff!
before
trying this product my skin looks so dull and have some dark spots spread all
over my face but amazingly this SNOW BB SOOTHING CUSHION makes my skin looks so
supple, moist and healthy. Well, say bye bye to dark spots and dull skin *additional tip : you
can slightly apply this bb cushion to your lips and your lips will retain the
moisture and make the lipstick color last longer.
Btw, after finished with the basic make up,
next I’ll show you my K-Makeup for day look (I try to make this look as natural
as I could by adopting one of K-Makeup look that show a feminine side of me)

SELECTION BLUSHER IN PINK GRADATION, PURE GLOSSY LIPSTICK IN DELICIOUS PINK
Gently draw the brow liner start from the middle and gradate toward the head
I only using shimmer type and essence type for this day look
Because i want to look as natural as i could so i applying the multi shaping eyeliner over and inner liner in brown
What i love the most from this volume setting mascara is the triple fitting film that makes my lashes look so silky and the zero weight-zero flake makes it complete
The color gradation from the blusher gives the natural look of blushy cheeks! Perfecto
And for the lips i use pure glossy lipstick to make the look more natural, the oil-moisture inside the lipstick coats my lips from the flaking damage
And
the last one… my K-Makeup for night look
Still adopting one of
K-Makeup look that pay attention to the eyes, I try to put the make-up for the
night heavier than the day look.
