On previous post we already talk about dorothy perkins spring/summer 2014 style essentials included the must have items and the trend you need to follow this season.
So for dorothy perkins style essentials competition i already pick one of style essentials for SS14, "the midi" to be exact.
People always think that midi-length skirts only create a feminine and girly-ish look but thru this first look I try to get out from the common thinking that midi length skirts always associated with feminine look. So i picked a leather jacket to make this second outfit look more bold and outstanding. Ultra edgy leather jacket and the midi works really well together, don't you think the same way?

and for the second look, i'm wearing the same skirt that wynne (one of my blogger friend) wore at dorothy perkins style essentials press preview couple weeks ago and to create a trendy spring/summer outfit i combined the champagne midi skirt with a casual stripes longsleeve shirt and a simple necklace.
as i said before, champagne rose is one of key color for this spring/summer season. So by mixing the it color and the it item for this spring/summer outfit surely will bring the spring/summer feeling to the higher level.
